Co-Owner and Head Coach
Ramin Ranjbar, Co-Owner and Head Coach at Omega Martial Arts, began his martial arts journey in 1992, driven by a competitive spirit and a deep passion for movement and discipline. Influenced by his father, a classic boxer, and spirited wrestling matches with his older brother, Ramin found early motivation to train, develop resilience, and refine his skills through martial arts. After moving to the United States as a teenager, Coach Ranjbar continued to pursue his love for martial arts while studying sports medicine, kinesiology, and massage therapy. Since joining the ATA martial arts community in 2005, he has become a respected coach, blending his academic background with decades of hands-on training to help students grow in both skill and confidence.
Coach Ranjbar holds multiple titles in regional, national, and world Taekwondo competitions, with distinctions in sparring, forms, and combat weapons. He has earned Top 10 rankings at the ATA World Championships a few times and serves as an International Judge. His martial arts experience also extends to judo and jujutsu, where he has earned accolades and titles, reinforcing his belief in cross-disciplinary training to build complete martial artists. In addition to his role at Omega Martial Arts,
Coach Ranjbar is also a successful entrepreneur. Since 2017, he has owned and operated Sapphire Therapeutic Spa, a thriving wellness business that has flourished under his leadership. With a strong team of employees and nearly a decade of experience as a business owner, he brings the same dedication, professionalism, and care to his spa as he does to his students on the mat. As a coach, he specializes in sparring and takes pride in mentoring students of all ages, helping them reach their highest potential both in martial arts and in life. Outside of his professional pursuits, he enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
